v1.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@IRus IRus released this 04 Oct 12:06

Adds a configurable timeout for each Kotlin Toolchain command while preserving the existing 20-minute default.

  • New command-timeout-minutes input accepts a positive integer number of minutes.
  • Builds and tests each receive the full configured timeout, independently. The same limit applies to toolchain version checks, check discovery, and plugin checks.
  • Existing workflows keep their 20-minute command limits without changes.
  • A job's timeout-minutes still limits the entire job independently and does not increase the action's command timeout.
- uses: Heapy/ktc-check@v1.1.1
  with:
    command-timeout-minutes: 40

Validation: all 20 automated tests pass; syntax checking and bundle generation pass. CI validates the bundle and passing/failing JVM fixtures on Linux, macOS, and Windows.

v1.1.0

@IRus IRus released this 04 Oct 11:26

Adds platform selection for projects that build and test different targets on different runners.

  • New platforms input accepts comma- or whitespace-separated target names.
  • Builds and built-in tests use the selected platforms; module selection, skipped checks, and build: false remain supported.
  • Plugin checks run separately with their normal platform behavior, without repeating built-in tests.
  • Leaving platforms empty preserves the existing build and check commands.
  • README lists all Kotlin Toolchain 0.13.0 target names, deprecated targets, and runner limitations.
- uses: Heapy/setup-ktc@v1
- uses: Heapy/ktc-check@v1.1.0
  with:
    platforms: linuxX64, jvm

Select targets declared by your modules that can run on the selected runner. Platform selection uses kotlin build and kotlin test; Kotlin Toolchain 0.13's kotlin check does not accept platform selection.

Validation: all 16 tests pass, the checked-in bundle matches a fresh build, and CI verifies passing and deliberately failing JVM fixtures on Linux, macOS, and Windows.
