Feature request - Energy consumption #5
Comments
Interesting. As far as I can see - there is no energy data in the API responses I get. I am not sure I have any energy data locally either (what type of devices are you using?). Maybe you could have a look at the JSON responses in the browser and see if you can find any energy related info on your side. See also my reply in hemphen/hass-clevertouch#10 |
I have the Yali Digital Radiators, and the e3 touch device.
But no I can not find it either in the JSON.
I have sent a question to their support!
About the local access, how do I access the e3 device locally?
Then I can dig around there as well.

Not very easily :) Either you need to capture the network traffic in your router or redirect either the traffic or the hostname to a local computer. The traffic is unencrypted HTTP at least. Even if the data is there it might be better to get the energy consumption from some other smart device though. (I have the same radiators so I guess I can see the consumption locally as well) |
Interesting, will give it a try!
What radio frequency/protocol is the radiators using internally? Sounds
like a fun challenge :)

Also there is a new thermostat, which seems to be a replacement unit.
It uses Zigbee instead.
Trying to find where I could get my hands on one.

Do you know if the API allows access to energy consumption?
The LVI App does not show it, but the touch device does. And there are related settings in the app.
Would be such a dream to get the energy in to Home Assistant.
Energy consumption on the touch device:
Settings in the app for historical energy consumption (HISTORISKA DATA):
