Description

This is an exmample chef-solo repo containing sputnik developer profiles.

The Sputnik developer profiles are json data-bag items and are contained under:

data_bags/sputnick_profiles/*json

They are compbined and applied via different dna json files under dna/*json

Usage

Make sure you are using librarian-chef, and that the sputnik cookbook is available:

bundle install # or gem install librarian
bundle exec librarian update
bundle exec librarian install

If your dna/*.json doesn't include a run_list, override and force the sputnik::default recipe:

chef-solo -c config/sputnik.rb -j dna/my-dna.json -o sputnik

Otherwise use the included run_list, hoping it includes sputnik:

chef-solo -c config/sputnik.rb -j dna/my-dna.json
