The Calibrate button is essential to the firmware understanding the capabilities of the drive and motor it needs to send force feedback instructions to. Only need do it one time after uploading/upgrading the firmware. It will turn to the maximum left position -> turn to the maximum right position -> turn to the center.
It performs the following functions:
- Finds the Z-index of the encoder (this marks a specific point in the motor's rotation in order to know where in the rotation the motor is at all times).
- Calculates the speed (RPM) and acceleration capabilities of the motor.
- Calculates the power rating (N.m) of the motor.
