Direct Drive wheels are dangerous and can cause serious injury or damage. Please be cautious and apply all necessary safety measures when operating. We cannot accepts any risk for damage caused when using the VNM Wheel Firmware.
- Keep your hands and other objects clear when disengaging the Estop button.
- Make sure that the wheelbase motor is safely secured to a heavy desk (or rig) using a large G clamp or a purpose-built motor mounting bracket.
- Any changes in configuration can cause erratic behaviour in the motor. After making changes to config, expect unpredictable behaviour and treat the wheel with appropriate caution.
- Keep the Estop button engaged at all times, except when releasing for testing under controlled conditions, or when disengaging for use of the wheel in a game.
