Homegames

What is this?

Homegames is a collection of games meant to be played on a local network via Websocket. The goal is for someone hosting Homegames to be able to invite over some friends, get them on their WiFi network, point their browsers (one day Android/iOS app) to the Homegames server, and quickly drop in/out or spectate local multiplayer games.

Current State

As it stands today, Homegames is mostly a proof of concept. The current goal is to have a performant (60 FPS) shared drawing application over the local network.

Contributing

I have not yet given a lot of thought to this. The goal is to have a base that I'm happy with to start building games on top of, which has been a lot of trial and error up to this point. The eventual goal for Homegames to be a big cool open source game repo for people to build games using relatively simple tools.
