I have added:
in ./protected/modules/calendar//models/CalendarEntry.php
after row 122:
'is_public' => Yii::t('CalendarModule.base', 'Is Public'),

in (Dutch) language file ./protected/modules/calendar/messages/nl/base.php
at the bottom of the array:
'Is Public' => 'Is publiek'
