Hello all, I am excited to see this new discussion board. My name is Rykan and I am from Arizona USA. I am recently new to programming with python, as my experience is in SQL. I enjoy learning new things and have created a couple small programs for the company I work for. I am eager to find projects that I can contribute to and hope to branch out as a freelance python coder one day, I have a BS in Computer Information Systems (CIS), but focused on SQL and finding that python is now my passion. 😶‍🌫️ I love that it is cross-platforms design and fits into what I am looking for. All my python programming is self taught, but have found lots of resources to help. The only thing I am missing is a community of individuals that can help me grow. Since I am the only "IT" person in my company I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of, or share the small wins like creating and implementing small programs using python. I look forward to meeting and seeing new people joining this discussion.
