First of all I'd like to thank you for sharing this nice program with us. I've faced the following problem while using the related
software:
After recording terminal with ttyrec, conversion by ttygif completed without an error and tty.gif file is created but this
newly created file is not a real animated GIF file in Slackware64 14.2 (ttygif v1.4.0 was installed to the system by using SlackBuilds repository).
Output of $ file tty.gif is as follows: <absolute file path for tty.gif>:XWD X Window Dump Image Data ...
tty.gif cannot be opened and causes errors tied to 'file corruption' in various gif editing software
Also same problem persists in ttygif v1.5.0 for Slackware64 14.2
ImageMagick 6.9.4-9 Q16 x86_64 was installed to the system by default
If you could help I'd be glad
