URLs are an interface too. Hide the hashed URLs and provide simple, human-friendly permalinks as a service to all plugins.

I wonder whether this could be done nicely by supporting a pluggable shorturl interface. I don't fancy the idea of changing UUIDs, so at the very least permalinks should probably be an alias (might go some way to supporting #41
