I realize that if a username I look for ends by a _ or many following _ like JohnDoe_ it will remains like a "JohnDoe" search, so the results are wrong.
It shouldn't ignore the "_" chars.

On the Windows version (previous bug was for Linux at least) it can't find
any Twitter account if I give the precise ID (no _) it's totally broken, I
can't event find myself !"
Nothing is broken. Validate your config and please submit an error report
that makes sense so that I can actually act upon that and help out. Give me
list with usernames that you are searching for and return no ID.
P.S what is your value for "exclude users with geo disabled from search" in
Twitter conf ?
