In general, I think thematically it makes sense to have a visual of a red ball colliding with something. One option would be a Newton's Cradle (turns out there is already swag available for it:

Another idea would be to have a red ball really smashing into something. That's harder to draw though. :-)

It would be cool to get a few items of swag to hand out at the Modelica Conference. :-)

Clearly, a logo should be approximately 1:1 aspect ratio and not contain to many fine details (i.e. so it can be made into a favicon). It should exist as SVG so it can be scaled in a reasonable way as well.

Thinking about it I guess the newton cradle is semantically more appropriate. As in giving an impact to other users/developers to react rather than a meteorite like destruction (of the MA?....hang on ;-))

So the one I found here (which was also generated using Inkscape) should be easy to modify and I found some mention of CC in the source. http://vector.me/download/252007/newtons_cradle

The ball in motion should of course be red just like on the swag. And for favicon I think something like this (with a red ball) would work:

Input from Simone,
a graphic of a red comet. Might be easier to render also as small icon.

Something like that just with a red ball.

Here is a another one which might be a good basis but only using one ball: http://game-icons.net/lorc/originals/striking-balls.html

These are related to #25. Basically, we just need to choose one.
