module Capacitor not found iOS, after xcode update

using Mac osx Big Sur, and xcode 13.

was a forced update Thursday night now app won't build in xcode

Appdelegate can't find import for Capacitor.
file in node_modules.

npx cap sync ios
does not resolve it, the error goes away right after the command completes, but run build in xcode fails

I have fixed the capacitor.config,json in the project root, and now the cap copy/sync copies from dist to ios/App/App/public

and build in xcode completes..

but now my app is a blank page (i know my icon is not in the xcode settings yet), like none of my assets were deployed..
I can see the code, css, etc referenced in the index.html.

and, installing my icon allows app to function, altho now I have a big white screen for a while
