Did you try:
git config --global pack.threads 1
?
Git under iSH does not seem to like multi-threading...

Yes it worked. Apologies for duplicate issue; closing #1551-will report bug cause as @git/GitHub {&/or PEBCaK}, not iSH(B#274)'s problem!

yes, git config --global pack.threads 1 solved the problem, thank you!
