Newline character needed at end of input fasta file #189

Hi there,

I have recently used Racon to polish my de novo assemblies (with each several contigs). I have noticed that after polishing, the last contig always "dissapears", meaning it is not present in the output.
I have figured out the issue: the input fasta file needs to have a newline character at the very bottom, or else the last contig will not be present in the polished output.

It would be helpful if this issue could be fixed, or if the necessity of a newline character at the end of the fasta file was stated in the input requirements!

Thanks!

Hello,
which Racon version are you using?

Best regards,
Robert

I think that this error was fixed in version 1.3.2. On the other hand, please try to use the latest version which is 1.4.21.
