Bypass Kobo's requirement that you log in with facebook or a kobo account before setting up your ereader
This allows you to completely avoid seeing sponsored suggestions and makes it a lot easier to get back up and running after a factory reset
- Download the executable for your platorm
- Connect your Kobo to your computer and choose "Set up with USB"
- Unzip the package onto the Kobo device (e.g.
D: (KoboReader)) - Run the tool
After the tool runs successfully, eject your device
