Dear Abalduin, solution models describe an impure phase in terms of a mixture of pure phases. The concept is described in numerous thermodynamics texts (e.g., books by Jibamatra Ganguly, Mats Hillert, and Guggenheim). Some technicalities specific to perplex are documented by the commentary in the file "solution_model.dat" and specific questions can be addressed to https://groups.io/g/PerpleX. James
