FieldArray removing item gives old array from prop can we use componentWillReceiveProps equivalent to useEffect?

FieldArray removing item gives old array from prop, I have tried the below solution from #2934 this post. It works absolutely fine.

useEffect(() => {
  console.log(props.values.invoice_items);
}, [props.values.invoice_items]);

Can we use class based hook i.e componentWillReceiveProps equivalent to functional useEffect ?
If yes then how can we achieve that here?
