Proxy support?

Hi there!

I can see this repo is alive. Do you plan to add proxy support?

You mean proxy option of wkhtmltopdf or proxy like middleware in ruby version?

I meant wkhtmltopdf. Looks like they have a support for proxy. For example if I want to download smth using HTTPS or SOCKS proxy / list.

This should just work, no additional support is needed since in the end we call actual wkhtmltopdf binary and it implements proxy handling, not pdfkit. Have you tried just passing an option?

Well, in my case when I run it I have:

I can see the file though, but it is not a screenshot, it's like a print version. Same error when I try to do it from url:

And I also can see that pdf, but normal. But still I have that termination because of error. So I didn't went to the options even...

Well, looks like something on page is preventing that, hehe... But what host we are talking about when I do that from the string.

The first one is strange, I agree. I'll look into it. What OS are you running?

All I can recommend for now is to try running it manually from terminal with the same options to check whether it returns the same error or not.

+1 , wkhtmltopdf has an option --proxy. So you can use it already:

pdfkit.from_string(content, pdf_file, options={"proxy":"proxy.facebook.internal:80"})

This should work out of the box, is anyone still have this issue feel free to reopen
