In order to follow this tutorial you'll need to install the gems "ruby-processing" and "beanstalk-client".

In addition, you'll need to install beanstalkd.
  On MacOS X if you have homebrew installed just run "brew install beanstalkd"
  Or, with Macports installed "sudo port install beanstalkd"
  On Fedora, "yum install beanstalkd"
  Otherwise, from source: http://github.com/kr/beanstalkd
