Requirements: PHP 5.xx MySQL 5.xx with administrator privileges Install: 1) Extract contents of package. 2) Edit w-log/index.php for MySQL connect information at the top: MARKED WITH SET HERE 3) Open w-log/index.php, this will turn the mysql general log on. 4) Load any page on your local development environment which is connected to the same host as w-log 5) Click on "display log" to see the most recent results of a page load. The log will be emptied on each view. 6) Truncate and turn off via the link provided. You will want to turn off the query log during normal operation. 7) To re-enable your slow query log, just click on enable log. Please Note, you need to have adequate permissions for to administer your MySQL database for w-log to work. w-log only looks at SELECT queries that are the result of normal page loads. It does filter many different queries out of view for a better look at the page load. For a complete list of your query log, you can query within phpMyAdmin using: SELECT * FROM mysql.general_log This will show you all queries. w-log does truncate on each view, so refrain from displaying while searching full results.
