making F9 work with biblatex

The enhancement on the following page makes F9 work in \cite{} for biblatex as well. For some reason it hasn't been merged into the code at sourceforge, but I've used for a long time locally.

More and more people use biblatex so I think this enhancement is important.

This repo is a mirror of the Sourceforge repository. I'd like to avoid diverging from the canonical repo if possible so can I suggest we create a branch with this change applied?

Sure that would be the best. I'm not sure how to create a branch on sourceforge though... can you do it?
