We have this running in prod and it works pretty well. I'm planning on adding metrics as well. |

Hey, I needed this project as well as we are adding tracing in our company and we use open telemetry v1.0.0-RC1, which is finally stable. added a PR for that. Maybe we can merge to have both tests and latest version. |
