bus error #208
Comments
I'm afraid I don't know what's going on, so googling the exact error message is where I'd start. (And, yes, it's a bit ominous that the project is on google drive / being synced. I don't know if that's The Problem, but it's a theory you have to consider.) |
Thank you Jennifer -
alas restarting my computer worked... I donno. Very strange! Google
attempts have yet to be fruitful but I'll keep searching!
Best,
Hannah

Hello author of happy-git-with-r,
Firstly, I just want to thank you for this wonderful guide - it has helped me countless times.
An issue I'm having that I haven't dealt with before. My Rstudio was smoothly talking to github and my team and I were successfully pushing and pulling. I updated my mac OS and I suddenly when I tried pulling I get a "error: fetch died of signal 10" I then went into my shell and did git status and I get "bus error git status." I then updated x code and restarted R and that seemed to work for a bit. Just recently, I committed changes and pushed them and got no message at all. Nothing confirming it went through. I went to my remote repository and my changes are not there. I did git status again in the shell and have that same bus error message.... Any idea what is going on? I do have my R project in a google drive desktop or sync (or whatever the newest one is called).
Thank you in advance for any help!
Best,
Hannah
