This repository is a sandbox to test new Jenkins concepts and plugins.
- Configuration as code : AKA "Jenkins as code": manage your Jenkins from configuration to jobs only with code.
- Job DSL : Manage Job configuration with code and "configuration as code" plugin.
- CLI : Manage Jenkins in headless with Jenkins CLI.
- YAML pipelines : write pipelines in YAML.
At project root, launch the following command : make start
This will :
- Download official Jenkins image set in Makefile (
JENKINS_VERSION) - Add plugins you choose to install.
- Launch container and map volume and ports.
- User : admin
- password : 1234
In Dockerfile, we use Cloudbee recommanded way to install plugin : install-plugins.sh
You can add plugin id you want after the plugins already given. Then, launch command make build to build image and get and output like this :
