On a linux machine on your local network add the following cronjob to run every day at 6:30 in the morning and the Cable modem will allways work like a charm!
Don't forget to change the /path/to/ with your actual path where you saved the reboot.sh file
30 6 * * * sleep 70 && /path/to/reboot.sh
