At present, the cronicle system is managed by our system administrator. For safety reasons, we do not allow RD to perform any changes to the task (add/edit/delete/start/stop), but if the timing task fails, RD need to view the event history and log output to determine what's wrong with the task.
So, can cronicle provide a "Read Only" privilage? It will be more convenient for us to work with RDs.

Ah yes, this is actually a bug, not really a missing feature. A user without any privileges is effectively a "read-only user", but Cronicle is currently incorrectly blocking access to certain pages, by requiring the edit_events privilege just to get there. This will be fixed in the next release, thanks!
