Regarding swiping - it's a bit of an art form to get it going. You click on the card with the abstract & drag. (You have to actually click 👆, not just make a swiping motion over the card) Let me know if that still isn't working.
Regarding registering your twitter name, we actually receive the input as it's typed, so it is working, but maybe we should implement something in the UI to let you know that it's been received. (You do have to be logged in with Google for us to save your twitter handle in our system, though).

Thanks for your answer. The swipe sometimes works, otherwise I just select the text.

I think having a button to say save or delete Twitter handle would be great!

Using either chrome or safari I can not swipe in the application. I am using a trackpad and have gestures on. Mac OS: 10.9
Also, I can not register a twitter name. I can type a name but I don't see a button to continue. Typing enter does not help.

Thanks for reporting @fidelram!
