Hi,
We have been working on a solution to treat diferent kinds of user identification (id, idnumber or username) and processed table journal_entries in the same way like the grade_grades and groups_members.
About journal_entries table, we want to save data if entry only appeared for olduser.
Having seen the similarities on the code, we have simplified functions and defined a new one (mergeCompoundIndex) to process all these cases.
Hoping you find all this work useful. It does for us.
