Defog Lever Resize and Pot Replacement

The Defog lever width has been reduced to remove the collision with its slot. The lever pot has also been replaced with the standard P0915N-FC15BR10K Pot. Minor changes to the slot part to accommodate the new pot.

Description

Defog Handle Re-size

Addresses Issue #244

The Defog lever was .1" too wide and was interfering with the slot. It has now had its size reduced to fit with .01" clearance on each side for a smooth fit.

(Note the render was done with fast settings, the hole for the pot shaft has a circular profile except for the D-cut section.)

Pot Replacement

Addresses Issue #246

The EVU-F2MFL3B14 pot has also been replaced with the P0915N-FC15BR10K pot, due to being obsolete.

The flat "D" cut section has been re-indexed for the new pot, resulting in the pot's CCW hard stop being positioned approx. 5 degrees past the lever reaching its forward most position in the slot.

Changes to G-H Right Outboard Spacer

There have been 2 minor changes to the part to accommodate the new pot.

1. The thickness of the space between the lever and the pot has been widened due to the long thread bunch of the new pot with a tiny bit of additional room.
2. An anti-rotation hole has been added to work in partnership with the re-index of the D section to keep the pot orientated square within the cutout, whilst allowing the lever to be indexing close to the hard stop of the pot for ease of axis assignment within the software.

• Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)

How Has This Been Tested?

• Test A Visual inspection to confirm no interference exists between the lever, slot, and pot.
• Test B Interference detection within Solidworks between all modified parts, results returned negative.
