👋 Please could you explain what exactly this is, and it's relation to the JavaScript ecosystem/community?

Hi there! It is quite specialized/niche, however, it is a tool for extracting, compiling, manipulating, and visualizing pairing data from PDF files. Pairings are effectively sets of flights strung together. A pairing can vary in number of days, flight hours, pay, and so on, and this information is available to airline pilots but in text format. This data is considered confidential and so the tool is aimed towards airline pilots who have access to such data.

The project uses PDF.js and leaflet.js, and may be of use for others looking to visualize data from PDF files.

Relevancy for the JS community may be limited but I decided to accept the subdomain request.
I've already added your requested subdomain to JS.ORGs zonefile. But you have to (re-)add a file named CNAME to your branch with the single line pairings.js.org to make it work.
I'll merge after we have "contact". Please keep this PR open.
