20220116 Zenith Z 150

This black badge Z-150 features nice dye sublimated PBT caps and Alps green switches. The switches cleaned up nicely with ultrasonic clean and wax-boil but the case was incredibly stubborn. There was a sticker stain that I'm convinced is now just part of the plastic. Absolutely nothing I could get my hands on that didn't melt the test patch would make it budge. At the end of my wits I decided to paint the case.

The paint job turned out very nice with an excellent amount of texture remaining. I'm not sure how durable the paint job will be over time but it looks good for now. There's some whispers about a full metal replacement shell which I might eventually get for it.

The protocol is a slightly non-standard XT which doesn't play nicely with Soarer's Converter. Fortunately Hasu supports it with TMK.
