One of the most solidly built keyboards of all time, it features dye sublimated PBT caps and capacitive buckling spring switches. It was evidentally stored in very moist conditions and had some serious corrosion inside. The cable had developed an internal short and there was some green ooze coming out of a hole in its jacket. Connecting directly to the PCB showed that the board, somehow, was still alive and working perfectly.

It was fully stripped down, cleaned, and all the metal parts soaked in evaporust. The springs were given a coating of light instrument oil and the plate painted with a rust inhibiting coating. Assembly went smoothly with some fresh foam, plenty of clamps, and some well aimed tapping with a hammer.
