Re-purposing an old "bar back" sign to be a visual indicator or decorative. This old sign consists of a a piece of clear plastic that stands vertically in a base and was edge lit from the bottom with small incandescent bulbs.

20171214 : Basic UDP communications is working, acts as a server and replies. Also sends a multi-cast message upon successful start up and init. Create the 20171214-bar-sign-udp branch, it can be used as a starting point for other UDP enabled applicaions.
