There are several terms metric or otherwise that are known to have exceptions to the standard prefix and label crossing, or are synonyms. It would be good to have a curated list of these to add as exceptions. @HajoRijgersberg please let me know if you can help with this, so far we have:
hectare
decare
kilohm
micron (synonym to micrometre)
metre (needs synonym meter)
litre (needs synonym liter)
...

Kiloohm is used next to kilohm, as far as I have understood.
This in contrast to hectare, where hectoare really is not used (perhaps not even allowed, I expect).
Don't know about decare.
