Become part of our BrainBox community! 😃

Your are interested in creating or testing BrainBox tutorials or want to become a champion BrainBox user? Welcome! 😀
Tell us a little bit about yourself, what motivates you to join us and then let’s get started!

With this project, we would love to make it easy for anyone to engage in open science by launching or participating in collaborative projects using BrainBox.

My name is Katja. I have a background in fine arts and language studies and am currently doing a PhD in the field of neuroscience. My aim is to understand the evolution and development of the brain, in particular, the changes in the regions that support linguistic performance in humans. My work relies on brain imaging, and I am developing various open Web applications to facilitate the access to open data and to foster collaboration.

My name is Roberto. I studied engineering in Chile, then I did a PhD in Cognitive Science in Paris and now I am leading a group interested in theoretical and applied neuroanatomy at the Institut Pasteur. I study the development and evolution of the brain using mathematical modelling, magnetic resonance imaging and genetics. I have developed computational models to describe the organisation of human sulci, and to simulate cortical folding. My aim is to apply this theoretical framework to the analysis of the human neuranatomical data. I have also developed several Web tools for online collaboration in to help develop an open neuroscience.

Hello, my name is Sébastien. I studied signal and image processing, and now researching and developping machine/deep learning approaches.
