Caps Lock > Control on Hold, Escape on tap.

I would like to remap my Caplock Key to have a mapping when held as a modifier and a different map when pressed and released.

I can do this in Karabiner for macOS, but I'm hoping for something cross platform, in firmware.

If this is possible, I would also like to change the behaviour of the number keys, so that holding 5, and then pressing F, with give me the key mapping of F on layer 5.

None of this seems possible in the web based configurator.
Can you advise if this is a feature request or already possible?

Well I can answer my own question, This is possible using states in the custom KLL. for example U"capslock"(UR) : U"Ctrl";
Unfortunately it doesn't work, I think perhaps 0.5c hasn't been implemented yet. Could the devs please confirm this is correct? Ideally indicating the roadmap for implementing?
