Get alternative sources of location data

This assumes your camera's clock is correctly synced.

GoPro HERO11 Mini and HERO12 are the first GoPro cameras since 2016 to ship without GPS support.

Insta360 and DJI cameras rely on a cumbersome GPS remote to acquire a location lock

By using GPS watches, phones or other equipment its possible to derive a position

Strava
Komoot
Garmin
a correctly timestamped .GPX/.FIT file
