DERA v0.1.0-alpha.3 — DevSecOps & Release Engineering Foundation
Understand Every Schema. Engineer Every Change.
DERA (Database Engineering & Reverse Analysis) is an open-source, deterministic database engineering and reverse-analysis platform under active development.
Version
v0.1.0-alpha.3is the planned Phase 3 milestone, focused on strengthening the project's continuous integration, security, documentation automation, engineering reliability, and release management infrastructure.Highlights
1. Continuous Integration Foundation — Phase 3.1
2. Pull Request Governance — Phase 3.2
3. Security & Supply-Chain Protection — Phase 3.3
4. Documentation & Internationalization — Phase 3.4
5. CI Performance & Artifact Management — Phase 3.5
6. Release Qualification & Recovery — Phase 3.6
Security and Reliability
DERA's release engineering approach emphasizes deterministic validation, least-privilege execution, reproducibility, and auditable engineering processes.
Release publication must follow verified CI results, security checks, and maintainer approval.
Current Limitations
DERA remains in early development. The complete database inspection, reverse-engineering engine, visual engineering studio, diagnostics, and migration engineering functionality are not represented as production-ready in this alpha release.
Next Development Milestone
Phase 4 — Backend & Platform Infrastructure
The next development stage is planned to introduce the Python/FastAPI application foundation, API contracts, PostgreSQL platform persistence, authentication and authorization, background workers, and observability.
