Install on Windows

Tested on Windows 10.

TODO: Installation on Windows needs to be improved to make it easier, and cleaner. There is a ticket for this and input from someone who knows Windows better would be very much appreciated.

Steps to install

  1. Satisfy the requirements listed in the README.md.
  2. Satisfy the steps to be able to run it listed in the README.md.
  3. Browse to where you ran gradlew.bat run.
  4. Browse to bin then run.
  5. Right-click-and-hold on runHandWavey-windows.bat.
    1. Drag it to some empty space on the same window.
    2. Click on "Create shortcuts here". This will create a shortcut that you can use for the next step.
  6. Follow these steps to make it start when you log in.

Steps to uninstall

  1. Remove the shortcut that you created in shell:startup in the startup instructions.
