Description

Perch Review is an unbiased product recommendation application, made by users for users. A user can upload, search by keyword, and save recommendations for later purchase. This project is a MERN application and uses the npm package express-file-upload to upload images from a user's computer.

• User Story: I want to be able to create, view, and access real recommendations so that I can make, and help others make, an informed purchase more quickly.

Installation

This project requires no installation.

Usage

To use this project, a user must navigate to the deployed URL.

License

This project is covered by the ISC license.

Future Development

• Code simplification to POST the upload recommendation and image as one reqeust.
• Creation of a trending page based on past user searches.
• Implementation of a recommendation detail page to enable a user to view one recommendation more closely.
• When a user uploads a product, they can also add a charity for others to donate to; "Paying it forward."
