Grimm Chain - This archetype is inspired by the anime "Pandora Hearts", in which creatures exist in a parallel world called "the Abyss". This world is represented by the Banishment Zone. The deck focusses on banishing as many "Grimm Chain" monsters as possible, similar to the "Burning Abyss" archetype. The deck mainly using Ritual and Xyz Summoning.

Protectrix - This archetype is inspired from the anime "Date a Live". The so-called "angels" were taken as artwork design to be the protectors of the world. This archetype is not a control deck where monsters interact with Trap Cards. The Traps have an activatable field effect and an effect when they are milled from the Deck. It is a Fusion and Xyz Monster based deck.

Draconier - This archetype is a Pendulum and Xyz-related combo deck. This archetype represents mages who use summoning magic to summon evolutions of dragons, which became stronger by returning the pre-evolution to the owner's hand. This activates powerful effects that protect the Normal Pendulum monsters during their evolution.

Cosmoverse - This archetype was created to support the old iconic "Cosmo Queen" card. It uses engines of the two archetypes "ZW - Zexal Weapon" and "Dark Magician". The goal was to make "Cosmo Queen" playable as a normal monster. For this purpose, additional "Cosmo Queen" Extra Deck monsters and the supporting archetype "Cosmoverse" were added. "Cosmoverse" expands the deck with a series of monsters with equipment effects and easy access to the Extra Deck.

Holy Grail - The stories from the anime "Fate/Zero" and "Record of Grancrest War" are taken up in this archetype. The associated cards are not intended to be played on their own, but rather as support for other archetypes, similar to the "World Legacy" archetype. In this case, the archetypes 'Kniguard', 'Shadowblade' and 'Warflame' are supported with a range of Spell Cards and Link Monsters. What makes this archetype unique is the ability to use Continuous Spell Cards as materials for Link Summoning.

Kniguard - "Kniguard" is an archetype that is related to and supported by the "Holy Grail" archetype. The members of this archetype are mainly LIGHT warrior monsters. Other monster types are fairies and spellcasters. The strategy of this deck is to collect Grail Counters, as these are used to search for cards and Special Summon many monsters. The deck is primarily focused on Link monsters, but Xyz and Fusion monsters are also part of the card pool.

Shadowblade - The "Shadowblades" are the counterpart to the "Kniguards" and consist primarily of DARK warrior monsters. This archetype specialises in the flip summoning of monsters and thus enables a number of combo plays. The Link monsters in this deck have the option to flip cards up or down. This allows you to easily activate flip effects on your own turn and interrupt your opponent in the opponent's turn. The deck is enhanced with Xyz and Synchro monsters.

Warflame - The "Warflames" are the third faction in the battle for the Holy Grail. They are also an enemy of the "Kniguards" and their members are battle-obsessed FIRE warrior monsters. Their strength is clearly in battle, which is emphasised by their effects during the Battle Phase. The deck primarily uses Link and Ritual Monsters. They summon the Ritual Monster by offering tributes so that the Guardian Spirits can unleash their full power.
This ranking contains only custom archtypes and was evaluated based on duels against other custom archtypes.
