Just wanted to say, I've been working on Bforartists a little, well trying to, and found that we have some "Display" inconsistencies still, even after trying to clean up Blenders viewport/mesh display system. We are proud to say your addon is included by default in it's repository.

We noticed there are a global viewport toggles and local toggles - and in different areas of the UI. I was wondering, what are the chances of figuring out a way to seperate "Global Wireframe" toggles and "Mesh Wireframe" toggles? I know there is a button, but the whole panel is located in a "Global Wireframe" are and the function of local object display settings in a global display settings area is confusing.

What do you think? How would that work? Should it be it's own panel or seperate to two seperate panel areas?

For example: Local Wireframe could be under Properties View>Object>Display and the global wireframe toggles could be under Shading - or maybe under a new sidebar panel that includeds "Local Display" or something?

Just wanted to know! I love your addon, just want to help mold the rest of the UI around it in a logical discoverable way. Thanks!

Well, I'm pleased that you find this tool useful 🙂

I'm not sure I understand what's your goal: you would like to have the same panel in the object properties, for the special case "Only selection" ?
If so, what would be the advantage compared to the existing options in properties' panel ?

Right now it's easy to combine a work on the selection and on the global scale, just by toggling this option. And you have an eye on your selection/viewport while doing so.
