!!!!BREAKING CHANGES!!!!

If you are migrating from version 1 to version 2 of this module, please note the following breaking changes:

  1. The private network is no longer managed by this module and must be created separately. In version 2, you only need to specify the network ID of the existing network. You can use this module to create the necessary network resources: Private Network with NAT Gateway.

  2. The post_init userdata are now called custom_userdata and are executed at the end of the bootstrap.

ENHANCEMENTS

  1. The apps directory is now synced periodically from an upstream repository, rather than being copied during bootstrap.

  2. Infisical secrets are now synced periodically instead of being pulled only when Terraform runs.

Upgrade from v1.1.0

  1. Backup Data: Ensure you back up the data located at /mnt/data.
  2. Enable Volume Delete Protection: Activate volume_delete_protection to prevent accidental deletion of the volume where persistent data is stored.
  3. Detach Private Network: In the server settings, navigate to Networking > Private Network. Click the three dots and select "Detach" to disassociate the private network from the server.
  4. Delete Old Network: Go to the network tab and delete the old network.
  5. Create New Network: Use this module to create a new network.
  6. Update Network ID: Use the new network ID as the input for hcloud_network_id in the v2 module. Adjust server_ip and tailscale_routes if needed.
