I think the "n.d."'s mean wordlists he's collected off the named person (=personal communication). Lots of these will be in ABVD if that's the case. The others I can track down are: Tsuchida, S., Y. Yamada and T. Moriguchi, eds. 1991. Linguistic materials of the Formosan Madulid, D.A. 2001. A dictionary of Philippine plant names. 2 vols. Makati City, Fox, J.J. 1993. Dictionary of Rotinese formal dyadic language. Unpublished revision of 1972 Jackson, F.H. 1983. The internal and external relationships of the Trukic languages of Verheijen, J.A.J. 1967-1970. Kamus Manggarai. 2 vols. 1. Manggarai-Indonesia, 2. https://wals.info/refdb/record/Cauquelin-1991 Soriente, Antonia, ed. 2006. Mencalèny & Usung Marang: a collection of Kenyah stories in the Òma Lóngh and Lebu’ Kulit languages. Jakarta: Atma Jaya University Press. NIGGEMEYER, H. 1951-52 Alune-Sprache : Texte , worterverzeichnis und Grammatik einer Sprache West-Cerams. Zeitschrift fur Ethnologie 76:50-69, 288-300; 77:116- 132; 238-250. |
ok, so we are almost down to exclusively "n.d." or "p.c." sources. Maybe we should move these into "source comment" fields or similar.

can you add language information to that list above? |
I'll be able to spend some dedicated time filling these in on Thursday. For
most cases it should not be a problem. I don't forsee any serious
difficulties.

Blust references this thing in some of his papers, which is "Fox n.d.":
These ones are all personal communications (i.e. people have given him wordlists directly):
I cite these like this in ABVD: @misc{Teljeur-10-2005,
author = "Dick Teljeur",
date = "2005",
howpublished = "personal communication"

For the Lobel stuff, I entered in a new bib entry for his thesis, credited one of the entries to that, and another (Bulusu) to 2016. Basically all of the entries that were listed as n.d. had two periods in the bibtex key: n.d.., so the first quick fix I did there was just delete the extra period. The Tsuchida 1987 one was a key : reference mismatch, which I fixed. Lots of small things, only a handful of actual entries that needed searching. I believe most of the issues are taken care of now.

Below are the sources referenced in

.Some fixes are straightforward, e.g. replacing
Niggemeyer 1951-52
withNiggemeyer 1951/52
should do. Most of then.d.
ones might be trickier to match.The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
