I have a genome assembly sequence. It was constructed from genomic DNAs obtained two separate individuals of the same species.
Libraries of paired-end and mate-pair reads were created from the two genomic DNAs, and assembled by Platanus assembler.
Is it possible to estimate the population size of such the genome assembly using gDNAs from multiple individuals using PSMC?
