How To Compile

Compiling for Windows

Requirements

• Windows Installer XML Toolset 3.5
  http://wixtoolset.org/releases/v3.5/stable
• MinGW
  http://mingw.org/
  (C:\MinGW\bin will likely need to be added to the system environment PATH variable)

Instructons

1. Enter the Windows Command Prompt.
2. Navigate to the BOSSA repo.
3. Run the following command: make OS=MINGW32 bin/bossac.exe

The command-line executable in bin/bossac is the tool we are using.

Compiling for Linux (Ubuntu)

Requirements

The following packages need to be installed:

sudo apt-get install build-essential

sudo apt-get install libreadline-dev wx3.0-headers libwxgtk3.0-0v5 libwxgtk3.0-dev

Instructions

make bin/bossac

The command-line executable in bin/bossac is the tool we are using.
