Removed some old code no longer needed, and built new binaries with the latest Go compiler.

Binaries for Linux and macOS

If you don't mind downloading and running random binaries, here are a couple I've prebuilt. This will save you from having to set up Go manually the first time.

Don't forget to chmod +x goup after unpacking.
