v0.1.0-rc4 — untested pre-release
Untested pre-release — for testing only
These installers are built straight from main. Nobody has run them yet.
They are not signed, not notarized, and not release-tested. Do not treat a green
build as a working app.
Windows
Two installers, same app — take whichever your machine prefers:
BandReady-Setup-*.exe(NSIS) — the normal one.BandReady-*-x64.msi— use this if the.exeis blocked, or on a managed
or locked-down machine that only accepts MSI packages.
Both are unsigned, so SmartScreen will say "Windows protected your PC"
either way. The format changes what will install it, not whether Windows warns.
To run it anyway: click More info, then Run anyway.
macOS (Apple Silicon)
The app is unsigned and not notarized, so Gatekeeper will refuse it on first
open. Right-click → Open no longer works on macOS 15 and later.
To run it: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the message
about BandReady being blocked, and click Open Anyway.
What may not work
- Speaking and speech-to-text are absent unless this build was made with the
voice extra, which is off by default because it adds 2-3 GB. Without it,
everything except the live examiner call and transcription still works. - Model weights are not bundled — the app downloads them on first run, so the
first launch needs a connection and some patience.
Please report what breaks. That is the point of this build.

Windows
The installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen will say "Windows protected your
PC". That warning is expected here and is not a sign of anything wrong with the
download.
To run it anyway: click More info, then Run anyway.
