Welcome to the crucible wiki!

This Wiki will be used for to direct interested parties to information on the Crucible including

  1. A daily activity log (monthly)
  2. A meetings log
  3. Hardware Design Specifications, Simulation, Fabrication, Assembly
  4. Software Design Specifications
  5. Electronic Design Specifications, Fabrication, Assembly
  6. BOM and Full Assembly

ZenHub

I use ZenHub to create the Boards and project management-y related stuff. I like that ZenHub sits quietly on Github and is fairly lightweight. Some useful ZenHub information is on their blog. You can download the chrome extension from there. There appears to be more integration features that I haven't really started using yet, so feel free to recommend. Just create an issue!

Guidelines for Documentation (in progress)

Obviously it is important for everyone to document their work on this project. The nature of this endeavor, such as having streams of work in hardware, software, electronics, and biological design and experimentation, means we all need to document our work such that another team member can understand and pick-up from a specific point. In order to help accomplish this, I lay out some guidelines for documentation

  1. If you are doing something, please document what you are doing and why there is an issue.
  2. Please log the issue with all the silly metadata such as milestone and label as best as possible.
  3. If you make a change, submit a pull request. Please do not merge unless someone else looks at it and verifies it. When verified, you can use the "verified" label. Always link pull requests to issues so we can track.
